CTI Molecular Imaging
A custom roadmap with 4 divisions, 600 employees in 20 months produced a concert of breakthrough results in sales, production, and product innovation. CTIMI market value increased from $322 M to $1.7 B, all with the same resources. CTI was then acquired by Siemens Healthcare for global expansion.
Siemens Healthineers
Field service for hundreds of scanner customers in the US was no simple task. Even with a new ERP system, materials management was a daily crisis. To compensate for possible material delivery problems, field service techs kept extra inventory equating to thousands of dollars in extra costs. In just three months, the team re-designed and implemented a new system that eliminated material shortages, caused a 60% reduction in field service instructions, and brought live system status visibility of all scanners to all groups, even on their smart phones. The old design forced people to work for their Oracle, ERP. The new system was designed around the real customers.
Advanced Detector Technologies Inc.
With over 150 nuclear detection devices to ship every day, there was no room for mistakes, material shortages or product failures. The core team of purchasing, planning, and engineering led a transformation effort like no other. This team's new system resulted in starting from 6 days per week of production to 34% open operational and space capacity. That capacity allowed for insourcing new electronics and innovative mechanical operations.
CPS Innovations
Receiving the Medical Product Innovation of the Year Award sent sales of $2M PET/CT’s soaring to a backlog of 18 months. Four months into the transformation roadmap, the team implemented their new CPS Production System, part by part and system by system. The results; 9-12 units per month to one per day, 80% improvement in on-time delivery, 11% cost reduction, 90% reduction in quality non-conformance issues and 60% reduction in inventory.
